Dulces miniaturas - Sweet miniatures

Ayer pasé toda la tarde (5horas y media!!!) en un curso de miniaturas en el taller de Noelia Contreras, una artista de la bisutería artesanal (blog aquí, web aquí). El curso era en Ripollet, cerca de Barcelona, y a través de Con A de arte, su tienda online, que gestiona además un montón de otros cursos de bisutería con arcilla polimérica. Habrá más cursos de miniaturas así que os lo recomiendo mucho mucho mucho.

Me lo pasé muy muy bien, me encantó como trabaja Noelia y todos los trucos que enseñó. Evidentemente la bisutería de repostería no está a tamaño 1:12 pero solo es cuestión ahora de hacerla más pequeña :)

Yesterday, I spent the whole afternoon (5.5 hours!!!) in a miniature course about bakery and other sweet stuff. The class was done by Noelia Contreras, a master on the handmade polymer clay jewellery (blog here, web here). She has a shop online (con A de arte, here) that is who manage this course and other about polymer clay techniques for jewellry. Highly recommended!!

I had a lot of fun, a lot! Noelia works amazingly well and she showed us very useful tips for working with polymer clay. Obviously the bakery-sweet jewllery is not at 1:12 scale but it is to do them smaller :)

 Unos pendientes-porción de pastel de vainilla y chocolate con cubierta de nata. Al fondo uno con fresa y dos de chocolate, etsos si a tamaño 1:12.....¡buenísimos!

Mokume Gané en Azul y... - Mokume Gané in Blue and...

En realidad es mi primera prueba con la técnica Mokume Gané, y ya puestos con la misma pasta hice el collar de líneas y los pendientes. Todo en arcilla polimérica azul y blanca.

In fact it is my first trial with Mokume Gané technique, and with the leftovers A new square necklace with lines and the earrings. Everything with polymer clay blue and white.

Amarillo y negro - Yellow and Black

Un encargo, pendientes en arcilla polimérica en tonos de amarillo y negro con diferentes diseños. El amarillo al mezclarse con el negro deja un bonito degradado en verde.

A comissioned work, different designs of earrings, all made with polymer clay in yellow and black. The yellow colour when is mixed with black makes a beautiful green.

Este sábado 6 de Noviembre volveré al Mercado artesano de Valldoreix (Barcelona) a vender mis collares y mis miniaturas. Quien pueda acercarse será muy bienvenido-a.
